Chlorine bound to CYA is far more secure when subjected to UV mild and is not going to conveniently degrade. Due to this, CYA is superb at shielding chlorine from UV decline. The CYA molecule, without chlorine connected, also absorbs some UV and radiates it back again at a unique wavelength of light
